We accommodate all standards of play within the club and participate in local and county competitions at senior level. The club holds an annual tournament as well as periodically running mini tournaments and other social events.   Competitive Tennis We run 5 teams competing in the Newbury District Leagues, so there are plenty of opportunities for matchplay Floodlit tennis in winter.   Social Tennis Our summer sessions are Tuesday and Thurs day evenings 6pm-8pm. Winter sessions are floodlit Thursday evenings 6.30pm-8pm  and Tuesday evenings indoor sessions 7.30pm-9pm at Bradfield indoor tennis centre.  Extra is charged for these sessions to cover the cost of floodlights and the indoor courts.  Both floodlit and Bradfield sessions need to be booked rather than turn up and play as happens during the summer.   Sunday mornings are 10am-12 noon all year round.   Matches   In the summer matches are played in the evenings, 6.30pm onwards, so for away matches more time has to be allowed for travelling to the venue.   In winter the matches are at weekends, usually Sats or Sunday mornings.   There are opportunities for mixed, ladies and mens tennis matches.
